Preemptive Opening

Three Level Opening bids are preemptive bids showing 5-10 HCP with 7⁺ cards.

Four-Level Opening bids are preemptive bids showing 5-10 HCP, with 8⁺ cards.
All openings are called Preemptive Bids depend on losers according to rule of 2/3.

Responding to Preemptive Opening

• Pass = Less than 15⁺ HCP, and no support

• Raise = RONF, 3⁺ cards support, NF

• New Suit = 15⁺ HCP, good 6⁺ cards, F

• Jump New = Asking Bids, 19⁺ HCP, slam try, need control in suit bid.
• 3NT = to play

• 4♣ = RKCB1403, 19⁺ HCP, slam try.

New Suit by Responder

New suit by responder shows 15⁺ HCP with good 6⁺ cards forcing opener to bid

3m – 3♥ -?

Opener rebids

• 4m = minimum, no support hearts

• 4♥ = to play
3M – 4♦

Opener rebids

• 4M = to play
• 5♦ = to play
