Advancer bids
• New suit = Forced
• 2NT = Ogust Convention, 15⁺ HCP
o 3 = 6-8 HCP, bad suit
o 3♦ = 6-8 HCP, good suit (2 of 3 top)
o 3♥ = 9-11 HCP, bad suit
o 3 = 9-11 HCP, good suit (2 of 3 top)
o 3NT = 9-11 HCP, AKQxxx
• Raise = RONF
• Jump raise = preemptive raise
• Cue bid = GF. Asks for shortness
Jump Cue bid
Direct jump cue bid overcall is 8 ½ playing tricks. Solid suit.
Responder to jump cue bid
Advancer bids
• Lowest step = 0-2 control and no stop in the cue bid suit
• New major -below game = F, good 6-card, if below game.
• 3NT = with stopper in cue bid suit, 0-2 controls
• 4NT = 3⁺ outside control with stopper
