Double with trump support

Support Double and Redouble

1♦ - (P) - 1♥ - (2♣); DBL

This double is called support double showing 3 card support if opener bid 2♥ promise

4 cards. The support double is played only for major suit and through 2♠.
Example is below

1♣ - (P) - 1♥ - (1♠); DBL show 3-♥

1♣ - (1♦) - 1♥ - (2♦); 2♥ show 4-♥
1♥ - (P) - 1♠ - (2♠); 3♥ show 6-♥ 15-18 points

Maximum Support Double

A double at the three-level that ask partner to bid game or part score.
➢ 1♠ - (2♥) - 2♠ - (3♥); DBL*

Asks partner to bid 4♠ if maximum otherwise bid 3♠

➢ 1♠ - (2♥) - 2♠ - (3♥); 3♠
Shows only competitive bid, NF
