A competitive double is played through 3♠

Double of a raise opponent suit through 3♠, except opponent in balancing position is penalty

Responding to competitive double

Partner of double bidder should choose the contract from alternatives suggestion from the
previous bidding, any non-jump bid is nonforcing,

Passing the double is required a suitable in defense with 4 trumps holding (3 trump holding at

3-level)

Cooperative Double

A cooperative double is a penalty suggestion holding at least 3 cards in the suit
doubled and no fit partner suit bid. The cooperative double is applied in this following

situation through 3♠ (higher double is penalty)

A double by bypassing the opportunity to redouble or to make the strength showing double
